Hi again!

Currently on my B i am running twinSU's
and i have the air filter setup that im guessing came from the factory, obviously with newer filters. (Not KnN's by any means)
Now alot of my mates have Turbo cars and ive seen alot of setups and people replace the air filters with POD filters...
Is there anything stopping me from putting two PODs on my SU's?
Is it even worth doing?
Or maybe locating the POD's towards the front of the car for best airflow (behind the front lip)

Here is a cheap alturnative that I did using the back plates of the stock filter holder and the stock filter elements and the bolts. I cut a new top out of wood and used silicon seal to seal everything together. The bolts are tightened just enough to hold the filters good and there is lock tight on the bolt threads where they go through the carbs to keep them from coming loose. The setup not only saves money but gives a lot better breathing. Look at the pictures on my web site. Please excuse the dirty filters. I have changed them since these photos were taken.

Hi bob.
Thanks for the reply.
I've seen that sort of setup, few guys in the MGCC have done that. Is there anything else to just taking it all apart and putting the filters on WITHOUT the airfilter cover? and obviously a backing plate over the filters.

I dont need any SPECIAL parts at all?
