MGB MGB front fender alignment question

My 70 BGT was damaged up front when the PO hit something.
The original aluminum hood took most of the impact, along with the windshield.

The right front fender has a dent at the very front but the rest is straight. However it appears to have been moved downward by about 1/2 inch up there, and this decreases to the back where it meets the windshield where it looks normal.

Where the door meets the fender there is about a 1/8 - 3/16 inch gap at the top and no gap at the bottom.

How would I go about trying to fix this? I can take care of the small dent in the front, but I'd like to know that I could maybe loosen some nuts and tweak the thing up a bit to align it.
Is this possible?

Might need to take it to a frame shop and have 'em stretch it back to spec.

Check the square of the engine compartment (same way you check the square of a window opening in your house)...then pick a point on both fenders & measure up from the garage floor to see if they're both the same....if either measurement is out, time for a frame machine.

Oh joy.

Thanks guys.

I'd say a hit hard enough to break the windscreen is definately hard enough to twist the frame a bit. Call around. Might not be as expensive as you think.

Frame twisting with the modern equipment is not too bad.

Whatever it was hit the center of the hood & the center of the windshield.
There is a dent at the edge of the fender right in the very front, looks like whatever hit the hood caught the tip of the fender.

It's about 3/8 inch below the level of the hood right there in the front then gradually decreases as you look back along the edge toward the door.

I'll try and get a picture up later today, I have some reunion thing SHE says I have to go to today instead of going to the All British Field Meet. Grr...
