I'm sure this has been done before, but when I had to wrench off a crank pulley nut, I was in a welding mood and whipped this up.... Worked so well I thought I'd share

Nice Eric!!! (even if it IS onna wrong frame rail to "un-do" th' bolt. :jester:

Now that is a good looking wrench. Just chrome it and put your name on it, and I bet you would sell a bunch.

Doc. it's the pully not the nut, hehe.

Dang you're good. I take it as the highest compliment that you looked closely enough at the photo to notice.

Yes, I took the photo when I was putting the crank pulley nut back on........ Actually it was as helpful to hold the crank while using a torque wrench as much as it was to get the nut off in the first place.

But about that Chevy orange...

Oh, no.... that's not CHEVY orange. Woulda broke when I used it. <laugh> Actually, I paint ALL my tools orange. Easier to identify in other mechanics' tool boxes that way. <shrug> People laugh, but it works.

I can see that. Very useful tool.

Is it cut by hand or by cnc? PM me the file for it and I'll cut one fer meself.

Vinnie, I think it'll only work on the later 18GV pulley. Your GB engines have a different damper.

Even on my '74? Oh yeah you might be right

That tool looks so nice, I wouldn't mind having one to hand up with the rest of my LBC tools just so people could say, "Hey what's that tool for"? I do things like that you know. It's fun to see peoples responses. I hung a 600 lb toque wrench once up with my carburetter tools. Got a lot of laughs. All joking aside, I think it's a nice tool! Sure beats a strap wrench!
