MGB MGB Carpet Pattern

Now that the mechanicals are sorted out on my 1980 B, I'd like to start making her a little more presentable. Does anyone know of any place where I can get a set of carpet patterns? My current carpet is shot to the point where it's unusable for that purpose. I plan on doing a proper interior re-do in the future, where I can justify the $$$ for a quality kit, but for now I just want to make it presentable. I figured I could do a reasonable job with a roll of automotive carpet and a pattern. Any help/advice would be welcome. Gary

Make your own pattern using stiff paper. Dollar General stores sell a poster paper 2 ft by 2 ft (I think) that makes great pattern paper. Use masking tape to join two pieces together. When you get the carpet to fit good, take them to a local upholstery shop and have them sew binding on the edges you want finished.

Thanks, I'll remove the old carpet and see if I can get the pattern on paper before I buy the carpet. If worse comes to worse, I can buy an inexpensive pre-cut et.
