Posted a while back about a 15 Ford C-Cab Pick-up truck frame and cab that was given to me...and how I was thinking about building a differnet type street rod. Today the frame and other parts go for media blasting...starting with the frame and cab, then make the final mods to mount the MGB wire wheeled front and rear ends when it gets back to the shop. After the rough stuff is done I'll box the frame and finish the mounts for the suspension then work on cab mounts. Plan on using aMGB drive train...slightly modified but as I won't have much weight....shouldn't have to worry much about that. Have a few pals intersted so will have help. Biggest problen is that at the moment we're completing a body off resto on a freinds 71 VW super vert(100 percent body off) and has to be completed in two weeks when I leave for NY. Also started the tear down on the wifes 65 Mustang. After tear down will go on the spit and we're doing a V-8 conversion, power disc brakes with power steering, a/c and other goodies. All red...will look fairly stock..but not.
