MGA Twin Cam Crated Engine

MGSA2333

Still Lurking
Offline
A neighbor friend who knows I like MGs (mostly T and SVWs), called and said his buddy is cleaning out his misc MG stuff from his garage, not enough energy to play with cars anymore. He was really into MGAs from the early 50s on. I have had a MGA coupe, and a roadster, now have another 59 in repaint. One item described, buried in the back, appears to be a 'crated' new twin cam engine. Did they make such a beast 'crated' and what should I offer the guy? I have to verify that it is real, but it is a twin cam, and he wasn't into modern stuff , like MGBs. More later I guess.
