MGA MGA Coupe numbers

Need help verifying the numbers on a 58 MGA Coupe. The numbers written in an old workshop manual that came with the car were;

VIN: HTM 43/36955
the engine : 15GB/U/27070
I have Original MGA here but am confused on some aspects and MGBs are more my forte.
Do these numbers in combination seem to make sense to anyone.
