MGA MGA Color Codes and Chips

Does anybody know of a site that gives paint codes for fairly modern Dupont Enamal like Centari for MGA, or better, has color chips available. I am specifically interested in Orient and Chariot RED. I like this paint because it dries fast, is easy for amature application and can be wet sanded with 1500 paper and rubbed to get the bugs out and make a dubber paint job look quite spectacular. It is also easy to repair garage rash.

Well, since neither were MG factory colors - or were they - why not just visit your local paint shop & look at their samples?

Yes, these were both factory colors for the MGA. The problem is that Dupont does not have codes for the more modern paints; only for rather obsolete paints. But, now that you mention it, I guess I could look at the chips for the old paints if they still have them and then have the paint guy try to match the chips with the new paint. I will give that a try. Thanks.

Joe,

Are you painting an MGA or an MGB? Here is a pretty good site for MGB and Midget codes with Dupont codes for most of the original colors.... I don't see the red colors you are interested in though, but there may be one that you like here.
