MGA MGA Close Ratio gearbox saught

I posted on the classified "wanted" page that I am looking for an MGA close-ratio gearbox or gear set but can't seem to get it to open so simply would like to plead my case on this forum.

I broke several bits in the CR box in my Elva last weekend and if anyone knows of any available CR boxes or gearsets please send me a PM or an email to: awgertoo@aol.com.
 
Brown and Gammons have these in both regular and straight cut form.

Have you tried ~Quantum~ to see what they have? They're in Conn, so not too far.

I got the backup MGA CR box and the engine back in yesterday. It was quite different than the one I broke at the Jefferson--10 spline versus 23, low slave location versus on top as fit to Magnettes and Elites, and a gusset along the bottom of the rear housing, but nothing that would not yield to the Makita die grinder! I drove it this morning and all seemed good so I will see you up at NHIS.

Thanks for the suggestion and I will make it a point to bring along the broken pieces and stop by Quantum on the way back south Monday.
