MGA MGA brakes

My friend just rebuilt the brakes on his MGA. New cylinders and he rebuilt the master cylinder. When he drives for any length of time, the brakes begin to lock. I have helped him bleed them twice so I KNOW there is no air in the lines. Our guess is he missed something in the master cylinder when he rebuilt it like a return pin hole or maybe a plunger rubber!
I know he honed the cylinder but maybe there is still a cup in the bottom that he didn't notice. Any other possibilities?
 
Not exactly sure what you mean by "lock" but one thing to check is that the shoes are adjusted correctly.....If he has the shoes adjusted to far up they will expand with the heat and rub on the drum(I am assuming it has drum brakes all round).

Zach, I guess "lock" is not the right term as the car will still move under power. All four wheels would not turn when we jacked it up after a run down a hill. You may be right about the ajusters being too tight because when it cooled down it was okay. Will check that out - thanks for the help.
 
Zack, Looks as though my friend had the adjustment a little too tight on the brake paddle. He backed it off a little and now it seem to be okay.javascript:void(0)
