I would like to install a modern 12v -ground stereo in my 1958 MGA with +ground, is there an adaptor so I don't have to change the whole car? If so, where can I get one? Are there any other solutions?

The short answer is yes... there are such adaptors. I have not used one but some problems (including a buzzing?) have been mentioned.

I use a - earth stereo by isolating it but this is tricky.

What is neither tricky nor problematic is converting the car to negative earth. If you are trying to preserve originality that is one thing -- but if you are looking for the easiest way to use a modern audio system you might review the procedure for converting.
