T-Series MG TF Dash Grab Handle Needed

I've looked high and low for a dash grab handle for my MG TF, and have had no luck. Abington Spares is the only company that seemed to have any, but when I called they didnt. Anyone know where I might find one? Any shape is fine.

Keep in mind, this is different than what came on a TD. Those seemed to have the MG insignia on them. On the TF, its plain, and curls up and attaches up under the dash rail.

Thanks for any insight!

Not certain about the TF, but the TD never came stock with a grab handle (unless they were dealer installed). I suspect that the same is true of the TF. Your best bet would be to haunt e-bay. Here is a site that lists all the e-bay listings for MGs - https://www.mgauctionwatch.com/auctions.php?model=General

Dave, correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought they came with the grab handle when the Mark IIs came out. My 55 TF has one and a place on the scuttle above the dash to mount it. PJ

PJ - It would appear, from the pictures in Clausanger's Original MG T Series, that the TF did come with a grab handle. The handle appears to be mounted to the scuttle rather than the dash itself.

According to the T Series Handbook from the New England MG 'T' Register, "the majority of the TD MKIIs sold to the general public were outfitted exactly like the standard TD. There was no external distinctions between the two models until fairly late in the game.

Then, at car number TD/c22613 (Dec.1 1952) a special "appearance package" was introduced to the the Mark II apart from the rest. The "new look" Mark II had...A curved grab handle was mounted on the passenger's side facia."
Cheers,
