I have an aftermarket type oil filter canister that is made in two pieces of cast aluminum. Does anybody know where I can get a replacement oil filter element? It is a sock type and measures 6 3/4 of an inch long by 2 1/2 inches wide . The Moss replacement for this type of filter housing is too wide and too short. I think there were probably a few aftermarket filters made for the TC , early TD . I'll take it to the local parts store tomorrow. thx. Kevin

I hope you can find it locally but we do have that filter. We show it at 7" x 2.75" diameter. Demand is very low these days. They run $69.95, yes just for the filter element. The part number if you need it is 435-390.
