I thought I posted this like an hour ago, but I must have had one to many beverages and hit something wrong /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thirsty.gif

Not workie, yep too many beverages.

Guess that makes it official then....no more drinks for me! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Now try this

That's been posted before &, unfortunately, its not a parts yard - its a junk yard!

I figured it was probably posted before, but I found it interesting to go through all the pics. One of the tranny's pictured has the starter dust cover/cap attached to it I've been looking for, for the A....So I sent him a note on that, doubt he will bother to pull off that small a part though.

It's owned by George Merryweather, new chairman of NAMGAR.

George is a great individual who came across the "remains" of a collection...after some very incliment weather had hit. The parts had actually been stored inside numerous buildings...until this Act of God took out the property. That's the reason some of the pictures look so "helter skelter". It's portrayed "as found".

He purchased this collection so that the parts would be saved and made available IF someone needed them...better than going to the crusher as far as I'm concerned.

George is in the process of reorganization/cataloging what he now owns. But, as you may recall, he also totalled his pristine MGA while returning from the Key West GT earlier this Spring, when an 18 wheeler merged into the lane a little too soon and literally ripped the drivers' side of the car off.

I remember seeing pics of that wreck - very sad...didn't realise it was the same guy.

When this post was first going around I emailed George for parts. Hope he gets back to me soon.

'bout the only parts that look useable to me is the primed MGA body and the indoor chassis.

Hmmm. I saw a bunch of Big Healey rads in there and a mess of TC fenders.

I've been buying parts from George for years, he knows what he's doing.

The MGBGT in the cars for sale area looks like either a very complete parts car or a good restoration candidate. Early '70s by the front grille.
