Yea, I saw one of these in the Isle of Man last spring, very cool looking, I had never seen one before and knew nothing about it.

Those wheel arches just look way too big for the body and wheels. Perhaps if they blended them into the body work rather then having that sharp line of demarkation it would look more natural. As it is, they look like a tacked-on afterthough. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazyeyes.gif And what's with those side louvers in a differnt color form the body. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif
 
I thought it had a kind of Bimmer/Audi TT look to it. Very contemporary for an LBC! Too bad MG didn't do better with it, they might not have sold out to China!! Seems to be doing OK at auction though (400,000 pound prototype for 22,000 - 26,000 pounds!)!!!
 
Those are starting to appear all over the ad pages of my preferred Classic Brit Car periodicals. There was an article on the SV in one of them last summer detailing how much the development cost and how much was lost in the whole project.

There was speculation at the time that the prices would fall very sharply for the cars because there are zero parts available for them for repairs. Other than visiting the Ford Dealership for engine parts anyway. The lack of repair parts are important because they tend to break easily as, evidently, they were still a work in progress.

Rowan Atkinson ran one as a long term test car for EVO magazine in Britain. He liked it well enough as a car, but it suffered all kinds of niggling (and not-so-niggling) faults. He also had the odd distinction of writing his final test reports after the car had ceased production and the company ceased trading. The MG also lost out to the Ford Mustang in a test in the same magazine, although the tester did seem to like the car.

I remember seeing the advertisements in Classic and Sports Car for the auction of the MG and X-power cars. The Bonneville record breaking cars were all offered for sale, as were quite a few prototypes other racing cars, and leftover production cars.
