JP...the driver's door wasn't latched when backing out of the garage. Door caught on wall brace and opened a little past full and crinkled the fender. Now it catches and won't close. Also don't know yet if the hinge or something may be bent...this is NOT fun especially when we ~need~ to drive her everyday.

Try a hammer handle between the hinge of the door and the car body and close it hard! Take hammer out and try the fit. Just FYI, you are replying to a post that is 12 years old.Try a hammer handle between the hinge of the door and the car body and close it hard! Take hammer out and try the fit. Keep at it till it closes proper and the start the bodywork on the wrinkle.
