Has anybody else seen the March issue? Great MG Model Guide detailing every MG made since 1924 to present....exactly what I needed to make placquecards for my cars...tells years produced, numbers produced, specs, & even a price guide (though in pounds)....worth the price of that issue alone!

Got mine yesterday Tony. I buy it every month. It has improved immensely since it was taken over and the whole magazine changed.
I love the Frog Eye Pic. that Saul sent in.

You should check out a book entitled "The MG File". It is 300+ pages of every car MG ever made.

Will it tell me who the idiot was that glued new fenders over top of the old ones on my GT Steve? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Ain't that a nasty tasting fibre drink?

Sorry, My italian is what it always has been - Nil, outside of food, cars, and women. Che Bella!

Re: MG Enthusiast Magazine MG RV8

Tony,
What do you think of the MG RV8 writeup on pgs 64 to 67? That is one awsome looking machine. Almost a flawless design from my opinion. Too bad only 200 were made.

Re: MG Enthusiast Magazine MG RV8

It looked italian, but then who knows? (Doc does)

I'd be willing to help build RV8 # 201! I've got the Donor car, the desire, and a few of the skills needed... Who's got the parts and the money?

Should be no problem gathering up the needed funds and parts, then when it is time to pick a coloUr, you can enlist the help of Jaybird. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Re: MG Enthusiast Magazine MG RV8

Was an RV8 replica at Grand Rapids last summer. I'll have to hunt for the pictures of it. Fine looking car.

Color? Easy. Mazda Shinka Black Cherry. What I would have painted Binabox had I (okay fine, we) not wanted to stay original.

Re: MG Enthusiast Magazine MG RV8

hehehehe... Non-original-RV8... I'd go Mazda RX8 blue. No doubts - unless I could get House of Kolor Kandy Cobalt Blue. With lightly ghosted (in the base color) MG logos in random inconspicuous areas of the car. hehehehehe /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

Re: MG Enthusiast Magazine MG RV8

Just getting to the RV8 article...I tried to buy a wrecked one in Germany but got outbid

Nobody has made a replica that matches the RV8 yet that I know of - they either don't change the windshield or can't figure out how to do the cockpit surround or don't splurge for the 3-piece wheels....there's always something to point out it was an MGB to begin with!

That is just discusting.

Re: MG Enthusiast Magazine MG RV8

RV8 article was good but the article on the Y-Type Saloon reminded me of why I want one - 'want' nay 'need'!
