MG 2011 - Reno

Planning to drive my right-hand drive TD from Michigan. She Who Must Be Obeyed has offered to fly out...and fly back, and suggested I take a cell phone, a credit card, and my motor club coverage along. WTF! I thought I'd take an iPod and one of those styrofoam picnic coolers filled with Old Speckled Hen.

I did but only got the wind howling, lucky for me there is a park in my front yard

wouldn't want to annoy the neighbors.

What's with all the shouting

I ask around to see if there is a co-driver riding Mechanic in the midwest

That's a long distance for a TD - but would be fun

like I said - it would start to look like the Pied Piper if we could all coordinate

as well as making a great you tube video

There are currently 58 enthusiasts who have registered and paid for the Rallye-To-Reno. Several others have placed their registration into their shopping cart, but have not yet paid.

There have been over 250 enthusiasts indicated on the website that they were interested in participating in the R2R

This is going to be huge.

Could we coordinate on meeting up for the drive for those of us
in the coastal states?I'm thinking about going through Susanville, but
could change my plans.

I'm off to Reno on Friday morning for a final site visit. Most of our ducks are all in a row. We just need to be sure they stay that way.

As of tonight (3/7) we have 356 paid registrations and 95 registrations that remain in shopping carts for future payment (don't wait too long and miss the early-bird registration discount!)

18% of our room block at Circus-Circus have been booked; 74% of our rooms at the El Dorado have been booked; and 78% of our block of rooms at the Silver Legacy have been booked.

Again...do not wait too long to get your hotel room booked through https://www.mg2011.com !
