I see that MG 2008 is in Valley Forge PA. Who all on the BCF is headed there? It's about a 3 hour drive for me so I see no problems for, if my schedule allows, to go.

Jean and I should be there. I have my hotel room reserved from Wednesday through Saturday. I'll find out in a week or two if my vacation request has been authorized.

I've only missed one NAMGBR annual convention (2007) since they began in 1992....and I've driven in an MG from Illinois to all of them.

Jeani and I should be going. I just spoke to her and downloaded the registation. If you take a car do you need to enter it in the show? what does the regi fee for? I'm headed off to sleep but will look it over with the boss and make sure she's ok with all of it.

Too close (time wise) to the Spridgets 50 at the Ozarks(I'll be there), sorry chaps, maybe next time.

The registration fees cover costs for a multitude of functions, etc, that are generated during the execution of an event such as this. The car "show" is but once "spoke of the wheel".

You do not need, nor are required, to put you car on the showfield. But in my opinion, that's part of "being there".

The NAMBBR meets are more than just a car show....they are a gathering of enthusiasts; provide an opportunity of learning experiences; and provide lasting memories of road trips and side excursions.

HTH...

I live about 30mins away, so no excuse for me.

I have a room reserved, but I will likely not be back from Krakow until that weekend. Anyone know if the hotel is sold out yet?

I'll probably hold it until the last couple of weeks on the off chance I'm back.
