Metal on Metal???

P.S. Guys - didn't mean to sound harsh and all of you on the forum have been most patient with me and certainly very accomodating. I'm learning basics and will never be a wrench turner - I just want to be an intelligent driver and have some idea as to what might be if I have a problem. Agatha doesn't usually give me problems but now and again she tests my loyalty - sort of like a marriage - most of the time great but does have taxing moments.

Good Day Gents.

This is the show I just didn't want to miss. Local church was starting the celebration of its 60th year and parisioners after each service would view the cars - all kinds. Agatha was parked aside of a Lotus, #5 of 25. My comment to the Agatha's admirers were to tell them she was the Lotus of her time. Gent/owner of Lotus said very little. It did my heart good to see for the most part Agatha was more popular. There were no prizes - just great conversation, great food and free and some happy kids!

judo, kites, balls, ribbons, and swings, how children pull at my hearts strings. those kids will never forget that day, i notice there ain't not no boys in dat car!, i knew it! your leading the conspiracy, agatha looks great.

Might be a long shot but...Have the mechanic check to see if the large bolt and washer that holds the crank pulley on is still there. Had one come loose and did make all kinds of racket till it departed. You may be on to something about the other car possibly having the trouble if you were following it the whole time.

Hey Anthony - there lots of young boys and even a few older ones. Unfortunately I have never asked the photo taker to cc me on their pics. A fellow clubmember took this particular photo and sent it on to me. I very much appreciated it. Many younguns had their photos taken and I feel a little smug to think that I probably or more correctly Agatha made their day.

Terry thanks for the advice. I am taking Agatha to her mechanic next Tuesday and leaving her for the day for a complete check up and various and sundry other maintenance things.
