To all my friends at BCF...Merry Christmas. I hope Santa was good to you all and you have had the opportunity to spend some time with family and friends.
I have been out of the loop for the past couple of weeks because I was working on a new "hobby" (No, I haven't given up on my B...I'm just waiting for the garage to warm up)
One of my best friends was diagnosed with breast cancer recently so I decided to do something a little special for her this year. After my last 4 1/2 year project...this one was a little less massive, but I kinda like the results... here it is...my 2nd quilt (OK...wall hanging but it's still the same process)
The first picture is one she recently posted on her blog of her son who began Racing this past summer....the next two are my "creation". I am hoping she likes it.

That is really excellent. Bravo to you for doing that; your friend is really fortunate to know you. Giving to others, rather than getting, is the greatest gift.
