Saw this Fintail for sale about 5 miles north of Princeton, NJ just off Rt. 206

Nice indeed. there is one, even the same colour. about a block from my house also for sale. It takes every bit of willpower I have to not go ask what they want for it.
 
Been tempted by those a number of times. Would be a fun touring car.
 
Looks exactly like the one I owned back around 1968-9. A '63 220SEb, fuel injected with 4-speed shift on the wheel and no power steering. Sitting high in those leather seats made me feel like a good German burgher.I loved the sound of that engine winding through the gears - surprisingly quick too. It was starting to rust, parking was a problem and so....it went.
 
I drove one to Watkins Glen from NJ in Fall of '69 to see the F1 races with 3 of my buddies.

It was a diesel and belonged to the father of one of the guys. We drove on Friday night and I was the most awake so I drove the entire trip. Slow but a nice car.
The same guy also had a 190SL and I got to drive that around a few times too......really nice!
 
We used to have a 65 220 when I was a kid. Great cars.
