Well, well, well... now there's a deep subject.
Anyway, It was a nice early spring day today here in the fingerlakes. temps in the upper 40s, to mid 50s so I took the doors off the CJ and took a drive about 2 miles over to meet Ksis. How cool is that! in my little town, and I find another Triumph enthusiest through the BCF.
We had a great time. Said Hi, yakked a bit, got to look over the Spitfire. Course, now I gotta hoe out my garage, cause he'll probably wanna come see the TR2 parts.
but anyway, it was a pleasent afternoon, and it's always good to be able to share your hobby with someone close by. this site it wonderful, but it's still not a neighbor to go and hang out with in person.
alright! spring can come any time now!

Good meeting with you too Banjo. I'm expecting the garage empty so we will have room to work on the TR2. How was the pie?

One good thing about New England is that there are a bunch of us relatively close together. The 3 clubs that I belong to clubs have tech sessions every other weekend over the winter at nice warm garages (with food and refreshments) and everyone stays in touch. Summer offers a lot of events for the three (3) clubs that have a lot of Triumphs in RI/MA and CT has several as well as NH/VT/MA, so you can keep really busy within a two hour ride if you feel like doing so.

The pie was delicious, thank you very much. We had, bannana cream, apple, Boston Creme, and peach. along with some awesome ham and bean soup one of our friends brough over.
Pi day rules!
(for those not in the know, the rounded off mathmatic value of "Pi" is 3.14, thus March 14th is "Pi Day" and we celebrated by caluclating the circumfrence of several pies, then eating them! Yummy!)
Yup, now I gotta go clean out that garbage dump of a garage to see if the TR2 is still under that pile of lawn furniture.
But my bicycle is calling as well. Tis the season to get out and ride, and It really needs a paint job. I've just been baulking at tearing apart a perfectly good bike to paint it.
ahhh too much to do.
yup. lots of folks nearby here as well, and now Ksis is practically right around the corner.. I know it's coming on spring, all my regulars are calling to see when I can look at thier old cars for thier spring checkup.
