Can someone supply me with a measurement for how far a aluminum oil pan extends below the frame rails. My engine is out an I'm making a pan protector and would like to do it while it is out. Doesn't have to be exact, but something to go by.

Hi John
I have an AH Spares aluminium oil pan on my BN4. Looks like it extends about 1 1/2 inches below the frame.

Mine came from British Parts Northwest -- I think it's a Moss part. It extends about 3/8" to 1/2" below the frame rails.
