Me, circa 1996

We (my girlfriend at the time (Cari)) were taking care of a cockatiel for a couple weeks. This shot was in no way planned. Helen, the bird had taken a liking to me and just landed on my shoulder one evening. Cari grabbed her Nikon which may have been sitting nearby and snapped this. Helen actually liked hanging out with me and would spend time on my shoulder while I cooked or maybe doing the dishes.
