She's still dinkin' around with figuring out the differences between digital crop-sensor DoF, focal length, etc. and a full-frame 35mm film camera. She's got a full plate ATM. I think we'll leave that sleepin' dog alone for a bit.Might as well give her the bellows too.
For a short while.

Just a personal observation, but a 40 ~ 50mm macro would likely be of more versatility. And may be a bit less costly. I've no handle on Canon's or aftermarket optics for such, but think that should hold true. You may even be better off thinking about a good, dedicated bellows.

Well. she's been locked into shooting .jpg and that's good for now. Her adjustment to a digital camera with real manual control is what she needs to concentrate on just now, IMO. Getting a handle on the difference twixt film and digital. She saw the hawk shots and what shooting RAW has as advantages in post, has a MUCH better grasp of Adobe's software, so will likely be well ahead of me when she gets to using it to do post work on .NEF shots!
Again, a monster in the works.
