May be too good to pass up! !

Gil-

You are killing me. If that were in Texas, it'd be mine. My wife wants one! I'm holding out for a Vitesse

Oh that's gonna kill Andy!
Yeah...I'd have replied sooner, but it took awhile for the paramedics to get the paddles working after I saw the ad.

I'll say here what I said to Gil privately: In my semi-professional opinion, that car is a STEAL if it's as nice as it looks; frankly, it should go for well over twice the asking price.

Oh, and you doubters: GET OVER the fact that it's a lowly sedan and not a convertible! The sedans are every bit as enjoyable, and they have the added benefit of being much roomier in the back seat area. With a convertible, anyone (over 12, anyway) that you put back there will not like you nearly so much after 30-45 minutes of riding back there. In the sedan, no problem (honest)!

As I also said to Gil, if I had the cash lying about, I'd have already a: bought the car and b: purchased a plane ticket to the West Coast to retrieve the car! :driving:

"My late husband told me he paid $1200 for it, so that's what I'm selling it for".

or.....

"My ex-husband said the car was worth $1200 in the settlement papers, so that's what I'm selling it for".

I am writing from the grave. This one killed me. I would jump on it in a second. Great price.

I called and it is already sold.

Why can't I ever run across deals like this.

A nice looking (in the photos) Triumph Herald sedan, red. $1200. Hence Andy's cardiac reaction. Someone got a good deal.
