Anyone planning to go to bring their M.G. to this show in May? I went last year and was the only M.G. It was kinda lonely! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Being the only one there allows for an easy win in your class don't it? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

Won't be back to NJ until June 10 but if I were there I would go.

Many years ago I dove a few times in the Wind Gap quarry. Imagine it may be filled in now.

Will you be at Hellertown?

Bruce

Not if a head judge decides to combine classes so his car can win!!!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif

YES! And I don't think judges, especially head judges, should be allowed to have their cars judged in a show. I was not happy that day.

Hmmm, Wehn I entered last year, I wrote in big letters on my windshield placard "daily driver".... And actually stayed until after the award ceremony, half expecting some honorable mention.... Blah. This year I'm just going to get some nice pics.

I won't make Wind Gap (I'm in the UK that week /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif) and I won't make Clinton, NJ (daughters ballet recital /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/angel.gif) but I will be in Hellertown. I live in Macungie, PA.

Pottstown! Perkiomen! RT 100!!! WOOHOO!!!!

I'm not happy NOW! That would be an obvious "Conflict of Interest" even to a six-year-old!

I've never even givin it a thought to winning anything at a show. I just drive my classic beater, and am proud that it made it there.
one year I won our clubs sponsored "brown bag award" For the "best loved" car A.K.A cars that normally don't win awards.
It was tasty wine.
I even made up a little card for my windscreen that reads "proud member of The Bomber Squadron"
I'm not normal.

What are the dates for these two events? I'm in NYC, but would gladly male a little day trip to PA! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif

I hope to have my Pacific Blue 100M Healey at Hellertown. I get to NJ late June 10 so have to get up rather early to get it uncovered, battery installed and hopefully started.

I purchased my 1980 MGB from a guy in Wind Gap four years ago. I will not be at the Wind Gap show, but will make the Hellertown show.

I believe Hellertown is June 11th this year.
