My grandson is going to be in a dance recital this weekend, based on "Where the Wild Things Are". And today the author, Maurice Sendak, passed away.

He's leaving quite the legacy behind. I would be willing to bet that almost everyone under the age of 40 grew up with Max and the Wild Things.

There was a hilarious interview with Stephen Colbert just a couple of months ago. Sendak sure was a spunky guy in his old age.
