Matching Green paint on BN1

Hi
I am trying to match the paint on a 1954 BN1
It is 2 tone Green and White.
I had a web reference for:
Spruce Green ICI code 2587
Old English White ICI code 2379
Having had a test can of the green made up it looks somewhat lighter than the current paint on the car, although it hasn't had 50 plus years to fade!!
Were there several shades of green used ?
Since I am patching rather than doing a full respray should I just try and match at the paint shop or will an original shade be a good match to the old paint?
Mnay thanks for your helpo
Ian

The paint shop can read the actual color of the paint on your car, and get a pretty close match, with patience on the part of the guy doing the mixing.

Don't waste your money trying to buy something off the shelf.
