TR6 Master cylinder

Hello All,
I'm replacing a leaking master cylinder and I just received the new one from Moss but the cast iron yoke has a chip in the end where it attaches to the servo. I looked at my old one and I'll be ****ed if that isn't the same way! I called Moss and they researched the part and it contained a note saying there was a design flaw but does not affect the working order of the part. Anybody ever hear that before I install the part and can't send it back? The chip resembles a small V. Its a Lucas/TRW.
Thanks,
Bill
