Master Cylinder Cover

On page 59 of my copy of Terry Horler's Original Sprite & Midget there's a photo showing a cover over the master cylinder/pedal setup...I've never seen one on a car....anybody ever seen one?

Or have an extra one?

I used a quad electrical box cover on Bugsy. Fits almost perfectly just a little bit of trimming.

The heater hose is covering it. Is that what you mean?

Tony. That's a right hand drive. You can only see the blanking plate.

Aha - so I've gotta anodize my ugly old one before I rebuild it....

Powder coat it?

Gonna have to do something...don't think soaking in the parts cleaner will do it!

Are you talking about the MC or the box?

The MC..box is painted nice, new black.

Bead blast it, then paint it with some VHT paint. It resists brake fluid very well. The top will polish (Jack can tell you about that).

Top will polish for sure. However, the MC was raw steel from the factory, it had no coating of any kind.
