Master Cylinder Cap

Is there an American car with a MC filler cap to fit a '68 - '74 1/2 MGB ?
Moss part #180-215 at $11.95 seems a bit steep.

Gee thanks adam.

Bassman, that's exactly what I'm building. In the article he references a General Motors cap that must be for another
MG Master cyl. I found the part, and it is approx 1 3/4" in diameter. My 1971 B has a cap approx 4 1/2" across. Just wondered if there was a similar over the counter part that I could purchase locally.

I started building that too and couldn't find the cap here but I may have seen the small one like you but didn't verify the number. Did you find the article on another site? That one doesn't come up anymore.

To find the bleeder instructions again, go to
https://www.bmw-m.net Bleeder Instructions
Then click on Tech Procedures and scroll down to the topic.
If you figure out which cap will fit a '71 B let me know, but the one described does not.

Yes, that is the same artcle and that is the same number on the cap. I didn't notice before it was too small but that is obvious now from the picture. I certainly will let you know if I find anything and you do the same.
Thanks,
Bob

I'm ordering stuff tomorrow, so I'll probably just bend over and order the cap too. Thanks for your interest.
