Master cyl rebuild

The exterior of my master cyl is nasty indeed. I have another un restored one and would like it plated or what ever they do and bored and sleeved and rebuilt.

Anyone have experience with someplace that can do that job.

Gerald, talk to me.

Hey Jack, it's Gerard (username = Gerard). He did the master cylinder on the Tunebug, did a great job. Shoot him a PM.

Which reminds me, I need to send Penny's MC in for rebuild and disc brake conversion.

Just have to remember which box it's in.

It will be in the last box that you check.

In my defense, I did label all the boxes with their contents -- and a Bugeye doesn't take that many boxes. Should be able to dig it out this weekend if I get a minute.

Master Cyl went to Gerard today. Wow was that a mess getting it out. Still a mess after it was out. It needs some love for sure. Also ordered new rods, box gasket, etc, etc and will go to my favorite stainless fastener store to get some new nuts and bolts for the whole thing.

Now a few weeks and back it will go, meanwhile I have some cleaning and black painting to do.
