Does anyone have a preference for XKE manuals? I have the big green "official" one, about two inches thick, and a Haynes.

"Big Green" has provided basically no help at all on a number of everyday matters, but it does have a 70 page section on automatic transmissions. It's subdivided into 3.8 and 4.2 sections that I never can quite figure out where to find what.

The Haynes has some useful information, and is where I've gone for most things. I probably have a couple dozen various Haynes manuals for motorcycles and cars, and they are typically pretty good.

A friend has recommended the Bentley XKE book, which he swears by.

Any other preferences? Opinions?

Thanks!

Jim
