Hi, RichC IMOP- there should be no reason to add a sealant to manifold gaskets.Check your factory manual and set the torque to the specified value for the fasteners.---FWIW--Keoke
Interesting. I hadn't planned on adding any 'tube gasket' product until a local chap mentioned that I should? When I cleaned off the old gasket it sort of looked like there had been something stuck as it was a slow process getting it back to machined metal condition. You made my task easier as I have already dry fitted everything and looks like a perfect sandwich fit. Thanks.
