Can't say (yet) how, where or anything much about this yet till a few things are hammered out. Four beautiful motorcycles..all with under 5000 miles on them. sealed away...dust,dirt and corrosion free. European road bikes. l
Looks like a museum. Plus more other items that would take weeks to inventory. If all goes well and these items are available it will be interesting. will keep everyone updated. And yes there are a few pics but won't post till later. This isn't a story or a myth. I've touched them...just being careful.

I like Barn Finds!

I know where Von Dutch's
wankle rotary powered
Hercules Motorcycle produced by
the DKW company is sitting in a
barn, but so far, he won't get off it.

Keep it under your hat Jack, but once the deal is done, we want details and pics!!!!! I love these kind of stories!

Go Jack!!

the only barn find around here is stale pig poop.

About the same in my world, I don't have any barn finds of any sort to report here in the hinterlands... :frown:

must be exciting!

A couple of years ago one of the Garages where we keep our Sunbeam was broken into by kids. Inside was a very 1930s car, three or four motorbikes and boxes of parts. By the look at the dust and cobwebs I think they had been there since the 1950s when the garages were built (and probably old then). I don't know what happened to them though, I called the County Council who owns the garages and they cleared them all out within a couple of days. My husband thought the bikes looked like wartime dispatch bikes but neither of us know much about vintage cars or motorbikes. Still, I would think they were quite valuable.

The nearest thing to a 'barn find' I have discovered was a beautiful mechanical Qualcast Model E lawnmower still shiny and new looking in red and blue. I used it too
