Home again next Sunday. Looking forward to visiting the Atlanta Import Auto Parts where maybe I can find a few of the fuel line clips for the engine room, I have one but seems like maybe two more or at least one might be in order. Will also look for a slide bracket for the generator, the one about 8 inchs long. For some reason I am missing that part, however it is available from VB if I get pressed.

Cool here, in fact down right cold, going to be a nice day though, sun out and expect it to warm up.

Guess what my son in law dug out of his storage. An old jeep with a chevy v8 in it, hehe, put it in four wheel and put the hammer down. Has the big off road tires and will spin all four on dry pavement. Awsum sound when he gets on it. He says he has used it in the past for deer hunting and such. He has had it for years, has been in storage at his dads place and is a bit ratty but does the job.

Cold here too ATM. Coffee's hot tho.

Slide out to Spruell's place and kick some tires for me!

Is Spruells place Atlanta Import Auto Parts??

ACK!! They've moved out to Tucker!!! Didn't know that.

Went to Atlanta Imports this morning. Got two of the clips that hold the fuel line to the frame, a generator tension peice, two cans of wheel silver paint, and a sprite key fob. Wife wanted to know why I did not get two key fobs.

Would be a handy place to have next door. Lots of parts floating around. Was a B and an Alpine in the parking lot. B needed restoration. Alpine looked great.

Would love to be truned loose in there with a shopping cart and 30 min.

Doc, I used to race with Paul Spruell for years back when I raced MGBs, great guy and a heck of a racer as well. Paul been venturing out and racing some lately with one of his Alfas.

That's good news indeed! We'd only get to Atlanta for run-offs (Steel Cities Region) so only got to see him occasionally... but I've sent many folks his way for bits 'n service over the years (because he's a great guy, as you said). One friend ran EP with an MGB, another with an Alfa Duetto... ahhh, "The Old Days"! *sigh* /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
