Made it into the AHCA club calendar...

... thanks to the photography of Reid Trummel! Thank you Reid... and lucky me. Looks to me like there was some sort of image processing or enhancement. The shot was taken at the last All British Field Meet here in Portland (Sept. 2017).
The image here is greatly reduced for posting (so the text may not come through, which is about the car).
A total of 5 Sprites (one box) made it into the calendar!

Thanks Mark - glad you like how it turned out! I have a patented (not really) 25-or-so-step process to prepare photos for print, and I take extra care with those going in the calendar each year.

Since 2018 is the 60th anniversary of the Sprite, I went heavy on them in the 2018 calendar, as you noticed.

While I'm writing, let me mention that I'm also chairing the Healey Rendezvous next year. It will be in Madras, Oregon, in September, and of course we're celebrating the Sprite's 60th birthday. I hope to see lots of fellow Sprite owners there!

So Reid, How does one purchase the 2018 Calendar.

So Reid, How does one purchase the 2018 Calendar.

It is essentially the December issue of HEALEY MARQUE magazine (see link below, with my signature image), so all members of the Austin-Healey Club of America automatically get one.

They are also available for purchase from the club's membership director:

Mike Schneider
3416 Barbour Lane
Louisville KY 40241

Makes checks payable to AHCA. The cost is $10.

Since you're in Dayton and apparently don't already belong to the AHCA chapter there, you may not be aware that "Conclave" - the club's annual national meeting - will be held not far from you in French Lick, Indiana July 15-20. I'll be there in the Bugeye pictured in my signature below (although I live in Oregon, I keep this Bugeye garaged in Louisville for just such occasions!). Hope to see you at Conclave.

Reid, Thanks, a trip to French Lick just may be on the list for activities next year. It's not all that far from Dayton. Bugsy won't be pretty by then but he will have a 1,326 and a 5 Speed installed. Paint is overrated. LOL.

For the record, Reid produces a high-quality monthly product in the Healey Marque magazine that is the AHCA's official publication. It's well worth the price of admission...see healeyclub.org for more information.
