I've got this deal going with a friend of mine. Her husband passed away last year and now she is dealing with cleaning out years of his "packratishness". I happend to ask if she had any old motors.. briggs and stratton type, as I'm currently on a kick of playing with small engines.
So now I wind up with plenty of "hobby fodder". Today I trucked home 9 (Yes 9) push mowers and 2 tillers that had been sinking into the weeds in the yard. mostly all 80-90s mowers, there are a couple of older ones in there. all said and done, I'll see how many can be revived, help some families that are in need, make a few bucks on Craigslist, help my friend clean her yard (and make sure she gets her fair share) and have a bit of fun tinkering in the process. Plus, in the end, I should wind up with a better push mower, a tiller, and a snow blower ( I got about 5 of those to go pick up still.)
It's an adventure.
