M/C push rod adjustments

They are screwed in and out of the clevis block with a lock nut on them. Check the manual for complete instructions.

Here ya go..

If you look closely at the pushrods, you'll see that there is place for a 5/16" wrench, and a similarly sized nut somewhere up the threads. If they haven't been turned in while it'll take two wrenches, one for the rod and one for the nut..

and from the "book"

in the event the adjustment having been disturbed, reset the
effective length of the rod connecting the piston to the pedal
until the pedal pad can be depressed approximatetly 5/32" before
the piston begins to move. The clearance can be felt if the
pedal is depressed by hand. It is very important that the push rod
should have a min8imum free movement of 1/32" before the piston
starts to move..

it says exactly the same thing about the clutch actuator.

I Quote:

"Reset the effective length of the pushrod by the adjuster nut so that there is 1/32 of free play between the pushrod and the piston. This corresponds to 5/32 free play at the pedal. It is essential that this play is present."
