I recently purchased a TR6 clutch set just to have on hand. I went with LUK because I couldn't find any negative comments, outside of requring more pressure to release (Buckeye articles). The price was also very attractive ($115.28 from Partsgeek with free shipping). Anyway, on examining the disc., I noticed that the lining is attatched to the hub with 8 rivited tabs that are .020" thick. That seems pretty flimsy and I was wondering if there has been any problems of the hub separating from the linings?

Typically the rivets just hold the pads until the adhesive they used is set.Not to say they dont play a part
but the rivets dont stand a chance without the glue and vise versa. While your planning ahead , get the cross shaft bushes and the fork pin
so you can really have a party when the time comes.Dont forget the ol mad dog trick of installing an adjustable slave rod from the tr4...
