Hello everyone. Could someone who's in the know tell me where's the best place to purchase correct lug nuts for my 13", aluminum Panasport wheels?

My current ones are el cheapo brand, chrome plated, rusty and don't have the correct, tapered base for my wheels. I'd like to get stainless steel ones, if poss.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Hi Mark, I cannot speak directly re: 13" panasports but I have just installed 16" on my TR6.
The nuts I found are made by McGard they appear to be a very popular brand with many choices. They are guaranteed for life not to rust or chrome peel. Here in Ontario they are available at Canadian Tire stores. I would think any larger auto stores in the U.S. would carry them. You can also conduct a web search at their site for dealers etc. Good Luck

Still looking for lug nuts for my GT6, which requires 3/8", 24 tpi nuts.

Panasport only offers black painted ones (sounds ugly for an aluminum wheel!). Panasport referred me to McGard (see post above) who does not provide them in the above size.

If anyone has ideas, please let us know.

thanks!

Mark,
not sure if this will help, but when I needed the centercaps for my 13 inch Panasports on my 80 Spit I got them from Formula Mag,Inc. in California Ph# 310-373-0071. Sorry but I do not have their web address. My car had the wheels allready on it when purchased so I dont know where the lugs came from. Hope this helps.

Have you tried The Roadster Factory? They sell Panasport wheels so one would think they would have the proper lug nuts as well.

NAPA does not have 3/8", 24 tpi lugs (which fit Spitfires and GT6s), my local NAPA store checked the Balcamp catalog to no avail. I'll try the place in CA that Paul suggested (thanks, Paul). Also, the LBC car shows are a good idea as well, but NOT stealing them off another car although it might come to that eventually (just kidding!!).

I did buy two stainless steel ones off EBay, which leaves me 14 short.

I've got a few hot leads in the works and I'll post the results ASAP. Thanks again for the replies, keep the lug nut ideas coming!
