MGB Lug Nuts 77 MGB

I just got through installing my new (new to me at least) alloy wheels. The wheels were original to the 78 to 83 Plymouth Sapporo. The lugs are new and have been torqued to 70 ft Lbs. There has been no lube or anti seize applied to the lugs (that I can tell)all stay tight and snug except for the ones on the right rear wheel. This set of lug nuts keep loosening up on me. Any thoughts on why this would happen? There is nothing obvious wrong and it has me baffled.

Regards John

I would suspect that either the taper on the nuts is not correct, or the threads are not matched. Perhaps the stud threads are worn out? Or the threads on the nuts were machined incorrectly? Have you tried swapping nuts and wheels around?

No I haven't tried swapping wheels or lugs around. I'll try that tomorrow. Thanks

Just swap one from each wheel and mark em.
