Hi Folks,

I`m looking to buy a "Lucas Fog / Driving Lens" only (Only 1); Working or not, Wired or not. This is for cosmetic use only. I have all the mtg. stuff so; "ITS THE LENS ONLY"!!

I`m not sure which is considered "Fog vs Driving" lens but the one I`m looking for is the "Flat Faced" & not the "Ribbed" one. I think thats considered Fog but ??

I went to post this in the classifieds & Panjo is asking me for all sorts of "PayPal" info that does`nt apply. It was geared to "Selling" as opposed to "Buying"?!?!?!?!?

Looking forward to hearing from someone.

The "ribbed" lenses are the fog lamps, and the "clear" are the driving lamps. Which model Lucas lamp are you looking for? There are quite a few: Square 8, 576, 700, Ranger, "New" Ranger, etc.! Regardless, expect to pay nowadays for excellent used or NOS lamps.

These ribbed ones were called Fograngers as Andy indicated so I'm guessing what you want is a driving lamp lens.

Yes; Its the "Driving Lens" I`m looking for. I`m attaching a pic of one I already have as I don`t know what the number is. It need not be tinted.

Hi Andrew,

Your correct; They are the "576". I had mine professionally tinted just the other day & look great. I simply want a matching "LENS ONLY" for the "DRIVING LAMP" that I currently have. Both my lamps are mounted & are "Non-Functional" as I`m using them for cosmetic purposes only.

So; A "CLEAR" Driving Lens is just fine "With or Without" wiring. I don`t need or want to buy the whole entire Lamp; "JUST THE LENS"!! If anyone has one out there; Please let me know.

I've been meaning to post a similar question. I have a reproduction set (Victoria British) and one of the lenses got cracked. anyone know if they are exactly the same size as originals? Seems there are no replacement lenses out there for them. You need to repurchase the entire fixture. That might be a cheaper option for ya Russ. In the mean time I looking too but for a cheap one.

I`m not going to spend several hundred $$$ for a complete "Repro" Fog Light Ass`y! I already have "Both" & mounted on my car. One is a "Driving Lens & the other is a "Fog Lens". I simply like the look (Appearance) of the "Driving Lens" & would like to have a matched set (Repro or Not).

Should You come across one in your search; Please let me know & I`ll do the same.

Found them; Both "Driving & Fog Lens` only"!!

You can get them at "jollyrogersmotors.com" (aka-noslocaters) out of Mass. (413-259-1722). Lots of "Lucas" stuff!!

I ord. a pr. of "Amber Turn Signal Lens" from them & left a msg. that I want to add the "SLR 576 Driving Lamp Lens Reflector" for $51.00 + Shipping.
