Lucas catalog sources?

I've been trying to find a good online reference for the old Lucas part numbers. Found a catalog for 1953, also 1969, but there seem to be gaps for both my 60ish TR3A and 64 TR4

I know I can grab an occasional number from TRF, but does anyone know of an online source that helps with these numbers?

p.s. I did see a guy in the UK that sells cds of the old catalogs, if anyone has a positive experience going that route, please let me know.

Thanks,
Randy

I've not seen that much online, but then I tend to rely on my Lucas Master Catalogue 1945-60 and various year- or marque-specific Lucas Catalogues I've managed to collect over the years.

There are also some, albeit not necessarily all-inclusive, Lucas part number references in the original Factory Workshop Manuals.

That said, I don't mind looking up numbers in my references, if you've anything particular in mind!

You have to watch Ebay pretty closely. There is someone selling reprints of the "400" (master) catalog from 69 at a great price. The originals are rarely found, and are usually $400.00 and way up from there. There are single year /marque specific booklets around also. There are also some multi year retailer books out there. I have a few of these, and so my coverage is pretty complete from the 40s until about the mid 80s. I would like to find a 400 book from the mid 60s though. The info in them is really comprehensive.

Randy,

I've got a Lucas 1960 Triumph parts booklet, and would be happy to get you a part number if there's something specific that you're looking for.

Happy Holidays

Sean
