The generator on my '59 bugeye is shot, and a friend gave me a Lucas alternator (LRA100). Anyone have any experience with this conversion and can give me tips? Where do I get a conversion kit (bracket)?
Thanks

Not sure about your application -- we've had a post about "upgrade to alternator" where it covered some inexpensive and more reliable alternator's than the Lucas (a.k.a. "Prince of Darkness").

It's only been about a week -- just roll down the page and you might be interested.

I think you just need a bracket from a 1971 or later 1275 that was equipped with an altenator. Maybe ask Tony Barnhill at theautoist.com (he used to lurk around here)
