LPG Conversion

Hi Guys,

I have been considering to install LPG in my OCT 1993 XJ6 3.2s,
and seek advice/comments/experience/best type etc, to help me to decide whether I should pursue this. Lpg costs is approx 45% of petrol in Australia. Government encourages this and pays $2000 towards installation cost. I am worried about the performance and loss of boot space with installation of gas cylinder.

Regards & Merry Xmas to all.

First, I know folks in Oz who use LPG.
You need to think carefully about this.
Whilst it does work, on certain engines, it requires more maintenance.

Second, the cost of upgrading your Jaguar engine-
Stainless valves, special seats, and even then, that fuel seems to sink the valves into the seats.

The costing of having your head pulled and valving reworked periodically cannot be inexpensive.
