Mg_Bizzle: the "pin" at the bottom of the vertical swaybar link has a taper to it to swedge it into the a-arm. If the nut (on the "inside" of the spring platform) just spins, the vertical link is likely junk. It has a vulcanised ball in the round end of the link to hold the tapered bolt. Best way I've found to get the nut off is to pin the ball side to the A-arm with vice-grips or a clamp with a lot of pressure and take the nut off with an air wrench. Short of that, cutting it with a grinder or saw is about the only option.
