Lowering a RB: Keep or discard rear sway bar?

I am lowering my '76 B by 1" using the Moss lowering kit. Should I remove the rear sway bar?

No!

Just be ready to apply some oposite lock when the time comes. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

It'll make it tight and you might not be happy.

I think I mentioned this before. Once the car is lowered, check the full upward travel of the shock arms. You might want to use the shorter shock links from an older car to prevent bottoming out of the shocks. Could be costly later. JMHO. PJ

keep the bar... interesting that your 76 has bars... my 76 had no bars when I got it. I added a front bar when I lowered my car. I have an aftermarket rear bar waiting to be installed.
